OBSESSED at the fact that they used two different takes of the kitchen scene in mizumono and primavera.. the “do you really believe you can change me, the way i’ve changed you?” “i… i already did” exchange was done so differently.
in mizumono, in will’s perspective, he spat the words out while actively bleeding out, half-unconscious. his grimace looks almost like a smile, thin, cruel. a half-sad half-triumphant realization that he had surprised hannibal again, perhaps for the last time. the scene in primavera is in hannibal’s perspective, here a single tear rolls down will’s cheek as he shakily raised his head as forced the words out of his mouth. he holds hannibal’s gaze and near slackjawed expression from blood loss will continue to haunt hannibal after his departure
